At WAIC 2026 on July 18, Wondershare Technology publicly demonstrated significant new capabilities across three AI products, marking a major push into the AI video creation space.

The company's Aidraft platform debuted the Infinite Canvas with Agent Assistant feature, a node-based workflow system that breaks from traditional linear film production. Creators can manage inspiration, assets, and storyboards on a unified canvas with over 20 fine-editing capabilities. The dedicated Agent Assistant incorporates expertise from screenwriting, art direction, and directing domains to support the full creative pipeline.

Aidraft also launched a cinema-grade storyboard director Agent workflow, integrating directorial thinking, audiovisual language, and performance art expertise. The platform leverages 3D director desks, 720-degree panoramic spaces, and multi-dimensional camera control. According to the company, the one-shot storyboard success rate reaches 80%, with creative efficiency improved by 10 times. The platform also strengthened its cross-border content creation pipeline with localized script adaptation, bilingual intelligent decomposition, and multilingual lip-sync capabilities.

Filmora.AI, making its debut at the event, is an AI-native video canvas platform for commercial storytelling and brand advertising. It consolidates ideation, script planning, storyboard design, asset generation, footage organization, and rough editing into a single workspace. The product is slated for public beta in August 2026, claiming up to 90% reduction in production time and up to 80% reduction in creative costs. Filmora.AI is already integrated with Wondershare Filmora desktop for professional post-production.

The third product, Virbo AI, is positioned as a viral AI video commerce tool. Using virtual split-control technology, it supports mixed AI-generated and live-action footage while maintaining realistic human likeness and product detail. Virbo AI supports 18 product categories including apparel, beauty, and food, covering product reviews, unboxing, and brand promotions. It offers specialized model libraries, scene libraries, and script templates for each category, with multilingual support for cross-border e-commerce.

Wondershare has been aggressively investing in the AI film sector this year, taking a strategic stake in Shengshu Technology and building an ecosystem around the large model plus tools plus scenarios approach. The simultaneous launch of three products signals Wondershare's accelerating push to build a comprehensive AI video creation product matrix. The Filmora.AI public beta in August will be a key milestone to watch.

Why it matters

Wondershare's triple product launch at WAIC shows the AI video tools market rapidly segmenting by use case. The Filmora.AI public beta in August will be the key milestone for market validation.
