Chinese blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed today that a new batch of Xiaomi phones have passed network access certification. While two REDMI 100W models were routine filings, the Xiaomi 2608BPX34C model stands out for filing support for more than a dozen large AI models.

The certification list includes Xiaomi's own models — Xiaomi LLM, Xiaomi HyperOS Vision LLM, Xiaomi HyperOS Perception LLM, and Xiaomi MiMo LLM — along with third-party models: Zhipu AI, ERNIE Bot (Baidu), Lark/Doubao (ByteDance), DeepSeek, Tongyi Qianwen (Alibaba), and Hunyuan (Tencent).

The breadth of AI model support suggests this is not just a routine hardware certification. Industry observers speculate the move prepares for Xiaomi's upcoming HyperOS 4 system, which may feature a more open AI ecosystem.

Xiaomi has been accelerating its AI deployment on mobile devices. The company previously deployed several self-developed large models on smartphones, including vision and perception models. Adding mainstream third-party AI services like DeepSeek, ERNIE Bot, and Tongyi Qianwen indicates the new system could offer a more diverse and open AI service ecosystem.
