Study Power launches AI Xinghuo community, reaches 68 cities in two weeks

Study Power's AI channel has launched the AI Xinghuo Community and an AI Super Card, spreading to 68 cities within two weeks of going live. Backed by a survey of more than 80,000 users, the community aims to push AI adoption beyond developers to ordinary workers and grassroots users.

Study Power's AI channel this week announced the launch of the “AI Xinghuo Community” along with a physical “AI Super Card.” According to QbitAI, the community — built for ordinary users — has spread to 68 cities just two weeks after launch, with members in many places already organizing their first offline meetups.

The community's origin lies in a survey by the AI channel that collected 81,596 valid responses: workers aged 24-45 made up 67.5%, office employees and public-sector workers together 69.7%, 89.6% of respondents use AI daily or weekly, the average person uses 3.1 AI tools, and Doubao and DeepSeek enjoy usage rates of 92.5% and 83.8% respectively.

The survey also exposed a gap in AI adoption: with hundreds of tools on the market, people cannot find the right one, do not know where to start once they open an app, and give up after a few disappointing tries. Product teams meanwhile see users register and then go silent, with poor retention, while the teachers, office workers, and small merchants who actually use AI well lack a platform to spread their experience.

The AI Super Card is the channel's practical entry point: it bundles membership and trial benefits from dozens of AI products including Zhipu, MiniMax, Baidu Miaoda, JD JoyAI, Pixverse, WPS, and Shumei Wanwu, covering general assistants, office work, coding, image and video creation, education, content creation, and computing power. It is currently in internal testing, with the first batch of 1,000 cards given free to seed users.

Unlike most “AI benefit cards” on the market, the AI Super Card is tied to community learning paths: after entering the AI Xinghuo website and describing a pain point, users receive a solution path designed from other members' real practices, and the card supplies the tools and token allowance for that path. QbitAI reports that several state-owned enterprises have already approached the team about bulk purchases to build employee AI skills.

Offline, the community has reached 68 cities in two weeks, stretching from first- and new-first-tier cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Chengdu to places rarely seen in AI industry coverage — Hanzhong, Ankang, Luzhou, Tai'an, Xinxiang, and Loudi. The first events have no grand launches or signing ceremonies: just community intros, practice case sharing, group discussion, and photos.

Study Power brings a unique foundation to this effort: 370 million registered users and 140 million daily active users across government agencies, enterprises, state-owned companies, and the education system. Starting August 3, the community will run nightly free online practice-sharing sessions, keep bringing quality AI products into real scenarios, and expand offline city communities.

AI Xinghuo is clearly not planning to live only in Beijing's Zhongguancun, Shanghai's Zhangjiang, or Shenzhen's Nanshan, but intends to open up prospects in second- and third-tier cities and even grassroots areas, where there is demand but no supply. For the industry, a community led by a national learning platform could become a new channel for AI products to reach ordinary users.

Why it matters

With 370 million registered users as its base, Study Power is moving AI adoption from developer circles to everyday workplaces and grassroots scenes, potentially becoming a major new channel for Chinese AI products to reach the masses.
