Hanzhi enters the GEO race with a traceable, verifiable generative engine optimization service

As users' primary way of getting information shifts from search engines to AI, a brand's image inside AI answers is becoming contested territory. On August 3, Guangdong Hanzhi Intelligent Technology officially launched its Smart GEO business, the latest vendor to enter this fast-moving field. GEO — generative engine optimization — aims to make brands mentioned accurately and positively in AI-generated answers. CNNIC data shows China had 602 million generative AI users by December 2025, and QuestMobile counted 446 million users of AI-native apps by March 2026, so more purchasing research now begins with asking an AI. The industry's wild-growth phase is ending. In March, CCTV's 3·15 show exposed black-hat GEO firms feeding AI models with mass fake articles, getting fictional products recommended as standard answers within two hours; the same month, CAICT published the GEO service trustworthiness standard and launched a certification review; on April 30, the CAC's Qinglang campaign against AI application chaos included AI data poisoning for the first time. Regulation, standards and certification now make compliance the industry's entry ticket. Hanzhi's background is distinctive. Parent Hanzhi Group, founded in 2004, has served more than 10,000 enterprises in digital finance, smart manufacturing and data platforms; since 2018 it has worked with RPA vendor UiPath, bringing process automation to demanding clients such as Coca-Cola and Dongfeng Nissan, and later built its own enterprise-grade AI integration platform. According to its public materials, the Hanzhi GEO approach is engineered: three self-developed engines (GEO-Mix strategy, GEO-Trace traceability, GEO-R3 efficiency), a standardized seven-step closed loop, a four-layer pyramid of source credibility, a unique traceability code for every piece of content, cross-validation across six major AI platforms, and weekly simulated user-question monitoring. On delivery, Hanzhi measures results by AI mention rate, citation rate and semantic positivity, evaluating service performance with 30 consecutive days of monitoring data and writing verifiable delivery into its service terms. It offers a general tier for small brands and regional customer acquisition, plus a custom tier with dedicated strategists for large groups, delivered through a network of six regional centers anchored by its Guangzhou headquarters. Industry observers say enterprise-service vendors bringing project-based, verifiable and traceable engineering methods into GEO could raise delivery standards across the sector. When vendors are willing to put results on the table, GEO moves from hype to real business. In the short term, GEO means a reallocation of marketing budgets from keyword bidding to AI-source building; in the long run it is likely to become infrastructure for corporate digital asset management. With rules and standards in place, the battle for brands' digital identity in the AI world has only just begun.
