Transwarp Named to 2026 IDC China AI 50, Doubling Down on AI Infrastructure

IDC has released its 2026 IDC China AI 50 list, and Transwarp was selected on the strength of its continuous innovation in AI infrastructure, its complete product portfolio and its industry practice, according to media reports. The recognition highlights the company's position in enterprise-grade AI infrastructure.

The IDC China AI 50 ranking covers the full AI industry chain, from chips, compute and algorithms at the foundation layer, to model development and data services at the technology layer, to industry scenario deployment at the application layer. It weighs market influence, technological innovation and commercialization.

IDC projects global AI spending of $940 billion in 2026, growing to $2.1 trillion by 2029, and expects active AI agents worldwide to grow from 28.6 million in 2025 to 2.216 billion by 2030. At the same time, IDC estimates that roughly 50% of AI-driven scenarios may fail to deliver expected ROI by the end of 2026, shifting the focus from model capability to the coordination of data, knowledge, compute and agents.

For AI agents, Transwarp launched a GPU-native cognitive database that rebuilds the database computing architecture around the GPU, folding data analytics, knowledge retrieval and multimodal processing into one GPU-accelerated system. The company says it delivers roughly 70x the performance of open-source CPU databases on the TPC-DS 1TB benchmark, up to 66x versus mainstream international cloud databases, and sub-second response for risk analysis over 480 million rows of transaction data.

Around the full lifecycle of enterprise AI, Transwarp has built a full-stack AI infrastructure product line covering heterogeneous compute, an AI-native data platform, a knowledge platform, model development and operations, agent building and enterprise AI applications. At the compute layer it schedules CPU and GPU resources uniformly, while the data layer handles integration, processing and governance of multimodal data in one place.

At the knowledge layer, its products connect document ingestion, intelligent processing, knowledge enhancement and retrieval services in one chain; at the model and application layer, it manages the full lifecycle of training, fine-tuning, inference, evaluation, release and operations, and centrally manages agent assets including knowledge bases, tools, skills and memory.

Transwarp says it serves more than ten industries including finance, public sector, energy, healthcare, transportation and manufacturing. The company called the IDC China AI 50 selection recognition of its technology progress, and said it will keep building out its self-controllable full-stack AI infrastructure line to move AI agents from point applications to large-scale deployment.
