Siemens to debut humanoid-robot end-to-end solution at CIIF 2026 to push physical AI into factories
At the 26th China International Industry Fair, Siemens will showcase an industrial full-stack offering that fuses industrial software, automation hardware, industrial data and AI. Highlights include the debut of a humanoid-robot end-to-end solution, the upgraded core platform known as Zuan Yao Zhi Xin 3.0, and more than 20 new products.
At the 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF), Siemens will present its industrial full-stack capabilities, fusing industrial software, automation hardware, industrial data, AI and industry knowledge across the whole chain from design and simulation to engineering, manufacturing and on-site operations.
Siemens argues that as industrial AI moves toward the physical world, tightly coupled hardware-and-software capabilities that connect the virtual and the real are becoming the key support for bringing AI onto the production floor.
As the centerpiece of its booth, Siemens will debut a humanoid-robot end-to-end solution. According to the report from QbitAI, it spans robot body design, process simulation and virtual commissioning, through core component machining, final assembly and on-site industrial applications, using software demonstrations linked with physical scenarios to show the role of digital twins, flexible manufacturing and intelligent scheduling.
In a live demonstration, Siemens will have a physical CNC machine tool interact in real time with a wheeled humanoid robot to reproduce a real factory scene known as robot loading and unloading: the robot moves autonomously and uses an arm or dexterous hand to grasp workpieces, simulate loading and return them, coordinating the robot body, scheduling software, data communications and machine tool. Siemens says this suits high-mix, low-volume flexible production such as automotive inspection, parts assembly and logistics handling.
To push physical AI into practice, Siemens plans to open six types of embodied-intelligence factory scenarios during the fair, exploring long-process, multi-task applications such as flexible loading and unloading, flexible packaging and intelligent palletizing.
Beyond the humanoid robot, the upgraded Zuan Yao Zhi Xin 3.0, described as the core vehicle of Siemens' industrial technology stack, will target different segments of discrete and process industries, expanding an automation and digitalization portfolio that covers the five layers of industrial architecture: field, control, operations, management and cloud.
Siemens says that by deeply integrating industrial software such as Intelligence Center X and Teamcenter, Zuan Yao Zhi Xin 3.0 will connect shop-floor equipment and control systems with upstream R&D, design, manufacturing and operational management, so that data flows and is analyzed more efficiently across the entire process.
At the fair Siemens will also exhibit jointly with several partners, focusing on precision manufacturing, automated machining and intelligent production-line control. Starting October 12, it will run a series of booth livestreams with industry experts to discuss new directions for AI-enabled automation and industrial development.
Why it matters
By packaging industrial software, automation hardware and AI into a shop-floor offering, Siemens signals that the industrial-AI race is shifting from models to integrated deployment, making embodied AI in factories a key thing to watch.
