Agile Robots Brings 12 Embodied-AI Exhibits to the 2026 China International Industry Fair

From October 12 to 16, Agile Robots is showing 12 exhibits at the 26th China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, organized into five zones spanning embodied intelligence, embodied models, research ecosystems, consumer applications and industrial deployment. The lineup includes the Mobile FR3 Duo dual-arm research platform, an AI therapy-and-wellness robot, a cinematography robot and the Diana3 Duo wiring-harness solution for automotive parts.

From October 12 to 16, the 26th China International Industry Fair is running at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, and Agile Robots is there with 12 exhibits spread across five zones: embodied intelligence, embodied models, research ecosystems, consumer applications and industrial deployment.

The research headline is the Mobile FR3 Duo, a dual-arm mobile research platform from Agile Robots' Franka Robotics unit. It fuses the FR3 Duo baseline platform with a tactile mobile robot, combining dual-arm manipulation, multimodal sensing and omnidirectional mobility so that teleoperation, data collection and policy execution happen on a single system.

That platform also underpins the first EBiM (Embodied Bimanual Manipulation) challenge, which drew 119 teams worldwide this year. Agile Robots is a main sponsor and supplies Mobile FR3 Duo as the common testbed so algorithms are validated on real hardware rather than only in simulation; the company says EBiM 2027 will move into a Beta phase with more teams, task types and test platforms.

On the consumer side, the AI therapy-and-wellness robot drew the longest queues at the booth. Built on the company's own high-precision force-controlled arm with a five-tool quick-change system, a single unit switches among five professional modes — internal heat, manual massage, sleep conditioning, lattice wave and electro-moxibustion — and ships with a cloud library of more than 100 standardized courses.

A cinematography robot applies the same logic to shooting. Users drag the arm to set keyframes and a trajectory-planning model generates the camera move, while a focus motor resolves and tracks focus automatically; saved trajectories can be shared and reused, leaving creators to concentrate on framing and narrative.

The industrial exhibits are equally concrete. The Diana3 Duo wiring-harness solution pairs a seven-axis intelligent force-controlled arm with vision and the Agile Core system for flexible routing and assembly of components such as domain controllers and cockpit harnesses, with modular tooling that supports a full line changeover in 15 minutes. Diana 3 offers a 3 kg payload for lighter research work while keeping a seven-degree-of-freedom redundant structure and the shared FCI interface, and a new-generation Diana 7 powers a teleoperation rig with millisecond-level bilateral force feedback.

Also on show: the VT10-G visuotactile sensor, which outputs RGB images, dynamic force-field distributions, depth maps and 3D point clouds; Agile Core, Agile Robots' robot operating system that links robots, vision, force control, mobile robots and PLCs; Agile Hand, a five-finger modular hand that can be upgraded to 16 degrees of freedom; and an interference-resistance demo built on an optimized FastWAM model.

Three joint demos with the Franka partner ecosystem round out the booth, covering dual-arm SMT tray handling with Joyson's TeleHand Lite dexterous hand, wearable inertial motion capture with j-mex AgileMaster, and open-ended object interaction with Robospec HERO v0.5.

Agile Robots says it was founded in 2018, is headquartered in Munich, employs more than 3,500 people from over 60 countries and has delivered close to 40,000 robots to customers worldwide. As the embodied-AI race moves past benchmark scores, the depth of real-world deployment is becoming the scorecard.

The fair runs through October 16, so the details worth watching next are how far EBiM 2027 expands, and how quickly the Diana line, the shared FCI development interface and Agile Core reach more production lines and store floors.

Why it matters

With embodied-AI funding and hype running hot, Agile Robots is anchoring its full stack in deployable industrial, wellness and research use cases — a sign the race is shifting from benchmark numbers to real production lines and store floors. If the EBiM challenge and its shared FCI interfaces gain traction, the company's research platform could become a common testbed for real-hardware validation.
