Zhidemai and Alibaba Cloud sign full-stack AI cooperation framework

Zhidemai Technology (300785.SZ) and Alibaba Cloud said they have become full-stack AI partners, signing a framework agreement covering consumer decision services, AI brand management, multi-model applications and R&D efficiency. The two had already worked together on cloud services, consumer-data access and model integration, and are now widening that into a systematic AI partnership.

Zhidemai Technology, a Shenzhen-listed consumer content and AI services group, and Alibaba Cloud said they have become full-stack AI partners and signed a cooperation framework agreement. The stated goal is to move from scattered technical collaboration to a single structure spanning AI infrastructure, consumer services and product innovation.

The scope covers five areas: consumer decision services, AI brand management, multi-model applications, R&D efficiency and product innovation. The companies also said they will deepen work on recommendation, product price comparison and AI-driven brand management, backed by a standing mechanism for co-building product requirements so business-side needs feed directly into technical iteration.

Each side brings a distinct asset. Alibaba Cloud supplies cloud computing, large models and AI infrastructure, and says it serves enterprises, developers and government agencies in more than 200 countries and regions. Zhidemai brings years of consumer content, product data and shopping-decision scenarios, alongside a stated “AI-first” strategy across its existing businesses.

The partnership builds on existing work rather than starting cold. In 2025, Zhidemai's Haina open data platform went live on Alibaba Cloud's Bailian platform, supplying consumer content and product data to models, agents and smart devices. The company has appeared at Alibaba's Apsara Conference for two years running, and in August its OpenHubs multi-model platform integrated Qwen3.8-Max shortly after that model launched, giving enterprise customers and developers a single place to call and manage different models.

Read as a sequence, the relationship has moved from cloud support to opening up consumer data, then to model integration and multi-model governance. The framework agreement fixes that path: instead of one product connecting to one model, infrastructure, scenario services and product innovation now sit inside one cooperation structure.

For Alibaba Cloud, the appeal is a concrete consumer-decision scenario in which to embed its models; for Zhidemai, it gives its consumer data a clearer route into model-side products. Shopping decisions are one of the few areas that naturally demand both multiple models and live data — price comparison has to be accurate, recommendations have to read intent, and brand management has to generate content and then measure its effect.

One caveat matters. China Daily labels the article as promotional material at the end, and neither company disclosed the value of the agreement, the size of the investment or a timeline for specific products. For now the certainty sits at the level of direction and mechanism.

The next test is whether products follow. Watch which models OpenHubs adds, how recommendation and price-comparison capabilities surface inside Zhidemai's own apps, and whether AI brand management becomes a service sold to outside brands. Also worth watching is whether the cooperation reaches Alibaba's broader commerce ecosystem, which would make it more than a standard cloud-vendor customer win.

Why it matters

The tie-up points to a replicable path for consumer-facing AI: pairing shopping-decision data with a cloud vendor's model stack. With no deal value or product timeline disclosed, near-term impact is more about ecosystem positioning than revenue.
