Damao Tech unveils Computing-Electricity Coordination 2.0 at WAIC, merging AI compute with green energy
Damao Technology launched its Computing-Electricity Coordination 2.0 platform at WAIC 2026, featuring a dual-engine architecture combining inference intelligence and game-theoretic optimization. The system aims to reduce per-kWh electricity costs by 10-20% for GW-scale AI data centers.

On the opening day of WAIC 2026, Damao Technology unveiled its Computing-Electricity Coordination 2.0 platform (AIDC Green Power Direct-Connect Energy Operating System) at a CIDC-hosted seminar. The platform features an industry-first dual-engine architecture combining "fusion inference intelligence" and "game-theoretic coordination intelligence."
An energy large language model handles the understanding of power generation performance, load characteristics, capacity constraints, and market rules to perform global strategy inference. A multi-agent matrix then achieves multi-objective dynamic optimization through collaborative gaming, outputting real-time executable strategies.
With AI computing demand exploding and GW-scale data centers consuming 8-9 billion kWh annually — equivalent to a medium-sized city's residential electricity use — traditional energy management models are failing. Competition has shifted from raw compute scale to a combination of compute and energy efficiency.
The platform builds on Damao's April 2026 "prediction-dispatch-trading" integrated solution and comprises 12 functional engines across the full energy operations chain. According to Damao, its multi-source prediction fusion engine improves forecast accuracy by 5-8%, while the dynamic position strategy management engine reduces per-kWh costs by 10-20% and increases green energy consumption by 10-15%.
The launch signals that AI infrastructure competition is pivoting from compute scale alone toward energy operations sophistication. As GW-scale data centers accelerate construction, energy management is becoming the decisive variable for AI project profitability.
Why it matters
Damao Tech's Computing-Electricity Coordination 2.0 platform redefines the economics of AI infrastructure by transforming electricity from a cost center into a value driver for GW-scale data centers.
