Jihong and Alibaba Cloud Hold Joint Innovation Seminar on AI-Native Infrastructure and Token Exports
Jihong Co. and Alibaba Cloud held a joint innovation seminar on August 2 to align on AI Agent infrastructure, AI-native cross-border e-commerce scenarios, and Token export distribution. The partners plan to build a standardized Token export distribution service around Alibaba Cloud's upcoming QWen 3.8 flagship model, pushing domestic large models further into global markets.
Jihong Co. and Alibaba Cloud held a joint innovation seminar titled "Wisdom in a Thousand Questions: Building an AI-Native Foundation," with discussions covering three main tracks: AI Agent infrastructure, AI-native scenario co-creation for cross-border e-commerce, and Token export distribution licensing. The meeting accelerates Jihong's AI strategy, which began to take shape with the launch of its Giikin AI+ platform in June.
Jihong CTO Mao Hongbo and e-commerce business CEO Guo Xinhua led the company's technology and business teams at the seminar, joined by Alibaba Cloud's ATH division MaaS team. The two sides exchanged views on enterprise-grade agent security, autonomous multi-agent collaboration, cross-border private knowledge bases, and full-lifecycle knowledge governance.
Luo Weihua, Alibaba Group vice president and head of model algorithms for the ATH division, showcased the full-stack capabilities and mature partnership models of the Bailian MaaS platform. Jihong shared implementation experience from its self-developed Giikin AI+ platform, which uses a bionic multi-agent architecture covering ten agents deployed across its full business.
A key focus was the commercialization roadmap around Alibaba Cloud's upcoming QWen 3.8 flagship model, which the two sides said offers strong multilingual processing, ultra-long context understanding, and native multi-agent collaboration — capabilities that closely match the needs of global e-commerce operations.
The two companies plan to build a standardized Token export distribution service system on Alibaba Cloud's ATH Token service, combining Jihong's long-established global channel resources with Alibaba Cloud's compute supply chain, so that merchants at home and abroad can compliantly and efficiently call on top-tier domestic large-model capabilities.
The seminar also produced a shared consensus: continue the "AI-native digital lifeform" approach of Giikin AI+, replace add-on AI tools with AI agents as the core of cross-border operations, and run regular scenario co-creation to incubate AI-native applications for multiple global markets.
Before this cooperation, Jihong had already partnered with Volcano Engine, Google, and Amazon Web Services — integrating Seedance video generation for a cross-border AI video production system, building an AI-driven "growth flywheel" with Google, and launching a cloud-computing cooperation with AWS.
With the Alibaba Cloud tie-up, Jihong's AI strategy has moved from single-point self-development to multi-vendor ecosystem building, forming a full-chain AI system covering compute, large models, AI content production, cross-border operations, and global Token services — filling two key gaps in enterprise AI Agent infrastructure and compliant Token export distribution.
Why it matters
The partnership marks Jihong's shift from self-developed AI platforms to ecosystem-based AI strategy, filling gaps in enterprise agent infrastructure and compliant Token export distribution. It also gives Alibaba Cloud's QWen family a new channel for global deployment through cross-border e-commerce.

Global interest in China's Kimi K3 model strains capacity and intensifies pressure in the US-China AI race
Moonshot AI has suspended new subscriptions to its Kimi K3 model after global demand overwhelmed capacity within days of the July launch, the latest sign of China's AI momentum. Analysts say the strain shows the Beijing startup lacks sufficient compute chips to serve the surge, even as the 2.8-trillion-parameter open-source model tops coding rankings.
