Start with meeting type, not brand
A sales demo, board call, recruiting interview, user research session, and internal standup do not need the same notetaker. The right choice depends on consent, transcript fidelity, follow-up actions, storage, and who needs access after the meeting.
- Use different tests for sales, recruiting, product, and internal operations.
- Check whether the tool joins as a bot, records locally, or supports bot-free capture.
- Ask who owns notes, transcripts, deletion, and admin exports.
